Celebrating Our 40th Anniversary!
In 1977, Corrosion Engineering was launched out of a Quonset hut on the west side of Phoenix. Don and Margaret Dunn risked it all and took a chance on breaking the mold of how screening and wear-lining products were designed and supplied to the copper mines and aggregate plants in Arizona. Don had worked in a “one-size-fits-all” industry, where the lowest-priced wire cloth and cast steel were mainstays.
Don felt that if he could produce innovative solutions to some common (and expensive) problems with a custom, application-specific approach, he could develop a following within the mining and aggregate industries.
Forty years later, after numerous advances in design and countless solutions to material handling problems, Corrosion Engineering continues to provide superior customized solutions that improve our partner clients’ efficiencies and bottom line. There have been many imitators—which means we’ve been doing something right all these years. The imitators have come and gone, but for the next forty years, we’ll remain committed to being a reliable supporter of our customers’ goals.
The Corrosion Engineering team is proud to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and we look forward to the next four decades of innovation and customer success.
