State-of-the-art Equipment

In most cases, the overall quality of any product is determined by the type of equipment that is used in the manufacturing of that product. Corrosion Engineering’s equipment includes some of the largest rubber molding hot vulcanization presses in the United States, both in terms of platen area, the largest of which is 65” x 220” and tonnage in excess of 1500 tons. This combined with our rubber processing and mixing equipment guarantees the highest quality product for our customers.

Our Record of Engineering Achievement

Corrosion Engineering is an innovative leader in the industry, devoted to solving problems no other company can. Our record of achievement over the last twenty years is remarkable:

  • The first steel-cable-reinforced molded-rubber screen panels
  • The first fully molded tapered openings
  • The first integrally molded pads and skid bars
  • The first molybdenum-disulfide-enriched rubber screen panels and chute liners (to reduce friction and sticking and increase screening efficiency)
  • The first molded-rubber cone-crusher feed-bowl liners
  • The first molded-rubber and ceramic-cone crusher main-frame liners
  • The first inflatable molded-rubber liners
  • The first molded-rubber and ceramic-wear liners with ceramic adhesion equal to the tensile strength of the rubber

Industry-Leading Solutions

Our solutions are available in countless designs for a variety of minerals processing applications and offer the following advantages:

  • Cost-Efficiency
  • Longer Wear Life, Less Downtime
  • Noise Reduction and Improved Safety
  • Easier Maintainability and Faster Installation
  • Elimination of Material Build-Up and Blinding

1977

Corrosion Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in 1977 to become an innovative leader of the mining and aggregate industry in custom engineering and manufacturing of world-class rubber, steel, and ceramic products. Innovation, quality, and service are the three fundamental values that have been the foundation of our company since the very beginning.

1978

Corrosion Engineering began manufacturing fully molded tapered openings. These openings proved effective in their customer-specific applications and are now industry standards.

1979

Corrosion Engineering manufactured the first integrally molded pads and skid bars to meet a customer’s unique requirements.

1980

Corrosion Engineering conducted research and development into the introduction of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) in rubber compounds for the purposes of reducing friction between material and screen panels or wear liners, in addition to reducing build-up and blinding.

Corrosion Engineering also began developing high-quality rubber and ceramic composite liners. During this development, we achieved ceramic adhesion equal to the tensile strength of the rubber. Today, our CorroCeramic liners are manufactured with a variety of different ceramics pertaining to the application of the product.

1981

Corrosion Engineering began developing pretension steel-cable-reinforced molded rubber screen panels. Coined CorroCable panels, Corrosion Engineering manufactures such panels in tension with high-strength steel cables. Flex-gap engineering provides flexibility united with strength. Molded tapered openings prevent plugging common in punched panels.

1982

Corrosion Engineering relocated our headquarters and factory facilities to our current location in Mesa, Arizona.

We also began manufacturing the first molded rubber cone crusher main frame liners and ceramic cone crusher main frame liners.

1984

Corrosion Engineering manufactured the first molybdenum disulfide, non-blinding rubber screens.

1988

Corrosion Engineering developed the world’s first commercial inflatable molded-molybdenum-rubber lining systems to diminish buildup in mining chutes.

1994

Corrosion Engineering invented and patented our Hi-Pro high-efficiency screens in addition to the Hi-Pro screen apparatus.

1995

Corrosion Engineering’s innovation department invented SURESEAL dust seals. These seals improve safety and work to prevent fugitive dust from escaping conveyor zones.

1997

Corrosion Engineering developed the MagPatch liner, an emergency magnetic-repair liner.

2002

Corrosion Engineering developed the Sure Seal II, an enhanced version of the original Sure Seal with a magnetic attachment system.

2003

Corrosion Engineering introduced CorroCeramic Blue—CorroCube and CorroTile liners.

2007

Corrosion Engineering developed MagCube and MagTile boltless liners.

2008

VibraCube dynamic inflatable liners were invented by Corrosion Engineering as a hybrid Corro-Cube inflatable lining system designed to extricate material buildup while also being effective against high-impact and abrasion.

2010

Corrosion Engineering introduces our G-Series ceramic products.

2017

Corrosion Engineering introduces Vino ceramic products.

Corrosion Engineering celebrates 40 years of growth and success for our company and our customers.

2018

Corrosion Engineering introduces the innovative SUPERCUBE wear liner.
